I’m so glad you’re here

About me

I’m a therapist, avid listener, ongoing learner, complex trauma survivor, recovering perfectionist, and mental health advocate.

I’m a first-generation American, professional homebody, dog mom, and plant lady. I’m also human – just like you.

I knew I wanted to become a therapist early on. I’ve always been sensitive to the emotions of others, and drawn to helping people.

I remember what it was like before I started therapy—feeling hopeless, helpless, and alone. As someone who has witnessed and experienced the benefits of this work firsthand, I’m here to tell you it doesn’t have to be that way forever.

Growth and healing are possible. I can help you get there. While I can’t take away your pain, I can help you work through it in a more gentle and productive manner. My approach is not about “fixing” or changing you. Instead, it’s about making sure you feel seen, heard, accepted, and understood. It’s about helping you realize you are whole, just as you are. It’s about holding space for you to rediscover your worth, and reclaim your life.

Quote from Carl Jung: “The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” As a therapist specializing in anxiety and trauma, Eden loves this quote. She enjoys helping her clients realize the best versions of themselves.

My background

I have 8+ years of experience providing mental health services to college students and young adults. I also have experience working in residential treatment, where I provided therapy to youth in the foster care system, who had a history of severe emotional and physical trauma, abuse, and neglect. Currently, I use my knowledge and skills to provide individual therapy to millennials, Gen-Zers, and young adults across the state of Texas.

My time in this field has taught me that our earliest relationships in life shape how we interact with ourselves and others. While I pull from various evidence-based approaches, the heart of my work is relational. By building a safe, warm, nurturing, and non-judgmental relationship with you, I can teach you how to relate to yourself from that space. I will use our relationship as a tool to help you find self-acceptance and heal from past and present wounds.

I’m passionate about providing holistic, trauma-informed care. This means 1) I view each person as part of a larger system they have experienced, and 2) I believe it’s essential to integrate mind and body in healing work. I will use different body-based techniques to help you develop greater awareness and insight into your experiences. In practice, this looks like checking in with your body as thoughts and feelings arise, noticing sensations, pausing to tend to inner wounds, and practicing skills to feel safe and grounded along the way. Whether or not you’ve experienced trauma, this process will invite you to grow more curious, kind, and understanding of all parts of yourself.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me doing something to nourish my mind, body, or soul. This often looks like sipping hot tea, curling up in a blanket on the couch (like a human burrito), with my partner and our two Boston Terriers, and getting lost in a good show, movie, or book. It may also look like moving my body in a way that feels good—yoga and nature walks are my jam—hanging with people who bring me joy, or trying a new recipe (and hoping it doesn’t fail, but enjoying it anyway!).
