A Nurturing Space to Grow and Heal

Anxiety and trauma therapy for millennials, Gen-Zers, and young adults across Texas.

Chances are, you’re here because you’re feeling stuck, and old patterns of coping have stopped working. At the same time, you want to feel better. You want peace of mind.

If you’re like most of my clients when they first reach out, perhaps:

  • You experience thoughts and emotions as too intense

  • Being present is a daily challenge

  • You feel as though anxiety and worry have taken over your life

  • Troubling or traumatic past experiences have left you feeling alone or misunderstood

  • You find it hard to put yourself first, without feeling guilty

  • You’re lacking fulfillment in your relationships, work, or home life

IF ANY OF THESE SOUND FAMILIAR, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

I can help you get un-stuck, and navigate life’s challenges with more clarity and ease. Together, we can work to deepen your self-understanding and improve the areas of your life where you feel you’re struggling.

HI, I’M EDEN.

I’m so glad you’re here, taking a step towards greater well-being!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), based in Austin, Texas. I help anxious, people-pleasing millennials and young adults learn how to prioritize themselves and live life on their terms. I also support adults who have a history of childhood trauma with long-term healing and breaking free from the past.

My favorite part about the process of therapy is listening to people’s stories. As you share yours with me, I will act as a supportive guide—helping you make new meaning of your stories, and rewrite or create new ones as needed. Wherever you are on your path to healing, I’m ready to meet you there!

My Approach

I view the therapeutic relationship as the vehicle for change. While I use various evidence-based practices, our relationship will be a core aspect of our work together. As it evolves, you can expect to develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others.

I also believe you are the expert on yourself. Rather than pretending I have all the answers, I trust that the answers you’re seeking are already within you; they just need help being found. With my training and experience as a therapist, my goal is to help you access your inner wisdom. I can help you part from outside sources telling you what you ‘should’ do, or how you ‘should’ be, and start listening to what you truly want and need.

My approach to therapy is holistic and trauma-informed; taking mind and body into account. Instead of viewing problems as a result of the person, I view problems as a result of the environment. From this lens, I find we can reduce unnecessary shame or guilt, and approach problems with more curiosity, kindness, and compassion.
